"Thanks..and no not really I met Ianto yesterday but that's it.." She said with a smile moving to go upstairs with him.

She very gently reached forward and brushed her fingertips against her ear, "Your species is very fascinating.." she said softly, "I have never seen anything like it..and I've been traveling for thousands of years.."

She smiled happily and moved to practice with the second round staying focused as she did, she liked Jack he was really nice..she was glad she could stay here while she waited for the Doctor.

She smiled a bit, "I'm glad.." she watched her ears and asked softly, "Can I touch your ears..?" she had noticed how easily they moved with emotions..it fascinated her...and it was a new topic at least.

"Yeah.." she sighed and let go and gave a weak smile, "I lost a lot to the daleks..my children..my first wife...companions that I've loved..I was scared I would lose you too.."

She smiled shyly, "Well thank you..I have a good teacher.."

She blinked, "Nope..My only job has been the fish and chips shop I never did anything else."

She hid against her shyly, that had been so nerve-wracking..she had been scared of losing her companion so soon..she couldn't lose another again..especially not so soon..

She watched very carefully making sure to memorize everything he showed her, she did not want to make any mistakes. After that she took her try and it was obvious she had learned it very quickly, it was obvious she was a good employee at the fish and chips shop. She took any job very seriously and made sure to not mess up at all.

She looked to her and softly pulled her into a hug, "I'm sorry you had to see that..."

"Life is very precious...but there are sometimes..that something being dead is better for other life.." She said softly, "I know it sounds bad but...Daleks and Cybermen...they are both creatures that will kill anyone they can that isn't like them.."

She nodded softly, "Yes I am." she said as she helped him clean up.

She shook her head, "It was a long time ago..I know sometimes I sound rather..harsh about things, but please, trust me, if I am..its for a good reason.."

She nodded moving the pancakes over keeping some in the warmer for anyone else who would want them, "Thank you Jack.." she said softly with a smile.
