This happens to my mom when she takes her medication and doesn't go to sleep right away.
Which is normal, the bottle says not to operate heavy machinery (aka drive) because you can get loopy.

But.. I don't think you should still be feeling the effects even after you wake up. And not THAT strongly.

I think it's worth an email to your psych, just tell him what you wrote in this post basically.
He should be able to adjust your prescription so that you aren't feeling weak and lethargic in the day time.
That's a little counterintuitive dontcha think, lol.
