@Another Movie Addict: I would be more surprised if you were. I don't see any reason someone should be embarrassed by spending time getting the help they need! That and I've been in the psych ward too. Only I was the 16 year old.

@Boss Rimi: I prefer sweets, but some spicy things are good. Like the buffalo chicken wrap at my favorite Italian place~

@Saeyra: Maybe I should! I'd have to find the details for requirements and such though.

@Shadami: Aww, it's a nice background though! I've seen Shadow as a name, but never Kitami. I need to go look into its background. Though it may not have one, I can't say~ I love things like name meanings and such x3

@Another Movie Addict: True, very true! What about you? Any notably entertaining stories from size deficiency? xD

What makes this a hotel for nerds specifically? Though luckily I think I count as one, so I can stay... right? o3o

@Saeyra: My main skills are writing and editing, and I'm not sure anyone would need that. I should look in that area to see if I can find some! But I'm actually talking more commissions for physical pay. But... Doing some that aren't for offline money would still be good for building my skills more and maybe getting some contacts/people who can vouch for me~ I wouldn't know how to price things though. :'D I also just like helping people~

It sounds like a really nice book to me. And most children's books are at least a little silly~

@Another Movie Addict: I wouldn't know since we're not as close anymore and she rarely has had reason to go near schools I think... But I wouldn't doubt it happening xD

@Shadami: Just you or not doesn't change it's awesome. :D How'd you come up with it? Any memory of that? o3o

@Boss Rimi: I'll let you enjoy those, yeah. I'm bad with spicy things most of the time. I'm getting better with some level of it but... jalapenos and I so far are still a no go! >w<

@Another Movie Addict: It really was. When I had in home counselling once, she came over and when she left my therapist just turned to me like, 'your little cousin is a cute kid.' ...It was fun seeing her face when I told her it was a way older adult than me. :'D
@Boss Rimi: Welcome back! Mind if I snack on your nachos with you as an apology? I kid, of course... But can I anyway?

@Another Movie Addict: I remember when I went to Vegas with family... They didn't even bother carding us, they just flat out kicked my cousins and me out for standing on the carpet of our own hotel. One of said cousins was in her late twenties/early thirties already. She was in her 30s when I was 18 anyway...I think she's around 40s now? Iunno anymore. BUT SERIOUSLY. They just kicked her off the floor and she's like "I'm a lawyer for crying out loud."

@Shadami: Many thanks to you! I am now safe and sound~ Also, a lovely name you have. Random note is random, I know.

@Shadami: Can you cook my share too so I don't actually have to be near the fire besides hiding behind Tuijp?

@Saeyra: Oooh! I wanna see it when it's done~ I can't draw. >w< Also how do you find commissions? I suck at it so far. Reminds me I found some contests to look at though. Blargh. Why am I so lazy today?

@Another Movie Addict: Fun thing about New Jersey: no one really cares about those rules. I go into the liquor store all the time by my self and never get carded. I buy myself some hard cider, some lottery tickets... They're used to me now once in a blue moon. But seriously, they have NEVER carded me. I kinda can't help wondering how no one's been arrested there yet.

@Another Movie Addict: I mean the bright side for us folk who get mistaken for being way younger than we are is... We'll probably still look young when we're old geezers. Right?

@Saeyra: What kind of work do you do/have waiting on you?
Posted in So light em up up up Posted 7 years ago
Someone should make me actually do my work.
Instead of snuggling up in here 'cause it's cozy and fun despite being faster than me by far.
*stares at her queue of things to edit* I like my job why am I avoiding it so much.

editing in...
@Saerya: I got asked by a ten year old if we were classmates when I was 22. Don't feel too bad.
Posted in So light em up up up Posted 7 years ago
@Another Movie Addict: I mean it's still generally better than being in New Jersey I'm sure. In the aspect A) he's there, and B) I hate NJ. xD

@Another Movie Addict: You think it's bad now... Imagine how I'll be if I end up being the one to fly in June to visit my boyfriend who lives in Arizona.
I did my research. It easily gets to like 100 degrees by that time of year there regularly. The average high is like 102.

@Saeyra: I don't get bullied as much as I'd think I should be. But to be fair, in my school days... My cousin was the most popular guy so no one was gonna lay a finger on me most of the time. But it's kinda annoying that both my parents, to me, are tall (dad's actually average for a guy, but mom was taller than average). I'm taller than a few relatives though, with one cousin being legally a dwarf, I believe.

I just hate needing a stepstool to reach into my dryer and such.

@Another Movie Addict: Oh my. That's where my mom and some other relatives are. I remember how fun it was visiting her in December as a kid when it was like 20 degrees in NJ and suddenly it felt like summer when I got off the plane. She was so used to the weather she thought I'd freeze to death in shorts. It was like 70 degrees easy. Also you're still tall to me~

@Saeyra: That's considered average here. What's it like being normal height? Though normal is overrated otherwise.
Posted in So light em up up up Posted 7 years ago
@Another Movie Addict: I wouldn't know what a ballsack is like myself. xD But yeah, it's normally dry here during this time of year, but it's pretty humid. Where is 'here' for you? I send my condolences no matter what for your sanity/hydration levels.

@Unicorn: I feel like that isn't too shocking since I know you have a two year old. (That was you right? ...Right?) Sleep is hard with kids. I ruined my parents for a while. Mostly my dad. When I was young, three hours was the most I *could* sleep and I was fine. Now I need like ten hours to function half the time and even then it's rarely enough. Getting old stinks. Also non-24 circadian rhythm but still.
