@ChiffonOrange: I can definitely see the sims 3 characters as creepy and not expressive, at least they did change that in 4!
And yeah, I feel like that happens with a lot of games - always comparing them back to their favorite of the series.

Creating characters is really fun, especially since you can get really detailed now a days with the shapes of everything! What are your favorite mods to use? :o

@MoodyB: I'll go throw them a follow on twitch and check out the youtube channel to see if It will be something I'm interested in.
