I'm unsure! There was only 1 from where I grew up as a kid and I remember it being a bit of a drive. When I moved there wasn't any nearby so I guess I never gave it to much thought :Y
Maybe because the theaters kept getting fancier no one wanted to sit around in a car for like 1-2 hrs xD

My nephew seems to be overly sensitive to sounds/lights. He has really selective hearing and can get lost in whatever activity he's doing? Like tunnel-visioned.

Wacom is stupid expensive lmao
But its the brand im most used to? My last tablet was a bamboo one and it was my faithful baby RIP
Just plug her in and zip-zoop everything is smooth sailing!
Though figuring out the driver installation and uninstallation for wacom was awful lmao

Gaomon works decently but has its issues. I cant figure out why PS wont respond to it. But since I use Sai mainly for drawing and PS for effects and stuff I havent gotten around to figuring out the issue xD

I like the pen pressure and it feels smooth to use. But i got something so much bigger than im used to OTL i thought bigger would be better?
But its been an adjustment lol

@DevilkinBoi: Massive group texts/messages give me headaches because I can't truly keep up with the flow of conversation, and for me it seems to quick paced for myself to grasp or absorb anything said :T

It also feels so isolating to be dismissed like that, at least for me it does. Or to be talked around? If that makes sense. It kinda makes me feel like my opinions, time and ideas are undervalued :<

Taking time to yourself to enjoy things you truly enjoy is refreshing! And it gives your a mind a break? If that makes sense.
Friends are great to have but sometimes taking time to do some solo stuff is nice to!
When I find my lonesome self in a hobby or fandom without an outlet of people to talk to about it, I usually look it up on reddit (or any other forum based site) and just lurk in the forums there, silently agreeing or disagreeing to opinions xD

@DevilkinBoi: Hey, it's totally okay for it to feel so draining and leaving the group chat. Being ignored by friends is hurtful.
I went through a falling out with a person I called my best friend and one of my biggest gripes and anger points is that they shoved their interests and hobbies down my throat but took no time or effort to even TRY mine own interests/hobbies. It felt like a one-sided relationship and it was such a big point of contempt for me. And left me feeling very very bitter.

I'll be honest though I'm not the best at messaging everyday and sometimes I'll read a text and it'll be a day or two before I respond. But it's not hard to pick up a chat from where you left it off, or acknowledging the big time gap between responses.
"Hey I'm sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner! Life has kept me busy and I haven't had much time to chat. Thanks for reaching out."

If you feel like you put in more work without getting the same amount of effort back then why do you have to put in EVEN MORE effort for people to think of you? Kinda rude and a bit dismissive tbh

If your friends are manageable and rather nice in a 1-on-1 setting keep them to the 1-on-1. There's no reason to stress yourself out or get your feelings hurt but putting yourself in an uncomfortable setting :0

Your feelings are valid and completely understandable! Peer pressure is terrible but, I don't think your in the wrong for leaving group chat, cuz I probably would have done the same thing!

@PoeticTorment: There are special exceptions of when I'll let the kids touch my computer.
But since the large majority of them get to excited with video games and still end up breaking controllers I just don't feel comfortable enough to let the kids touch it '3'

Why did they close in the first place tho? I've never really noticed them gone until the subject of them was brought up, I guess I just kinda accepted them gradually dying out ;3;

My family have our suspicious over it. The way he acts and thinks show some red flags of autism. We think he may have a mild form of it. But his mother refuses to get him tested :T
Which is super frustrating. But we do our best when he's over at our home ;m;

awwww I miss drive-ins! I remember going often when I was a kid. It's funny how they were a dying breed and now the virus has reinvigorated the business!
Theaters can really get loud! One of my nephews couldn't handle noise very well (still has a hard time with it.) and he'd just cry anytime the theater started to darken and the previews started to play ;m;
Now that he's older he loves the movies but there are times when the noise overstimulates him and he acts out.

Yeah I feel for all special needs people really.
My sister lives in a group home and they aren't letting them leave the house. They have been treating group homes like nursing homes. It's been pretty heartbreaking. If we want to bring her home, (we used to take her home every weekend.) we have to take care of her full time until the whole virus situation is over. Which right now it's a seemingly indefinite situation and we just don't have the space and resources to do that. Her birthday was the 7th and all my family could do was drop a cake and presents off at her front door and sing happy birthday to her while standing in the driveway. I haven't been able to touch/hug her since February. It's been really hard dealing with that tbh. ;m; I just miss her.
She also goes to ARC daily but since the virus happen they aren't allowed to go there either so she's been really bored and missing her friends as well :'/

Haha same is going on with my niece and nephews! They just miss other kids so much!

@PoeticTorment: Hahaha Your kid and my nephew must be cut from the same clothe because that exactly how my nephew acts!!!
It's really fun! My nephew just turned 5 and he can play it just fine, it gets a little tricky in some places for him but honestly it's a lot of fun! Well it looks like a lot of fun I don't get enough screen time for myself playing it xD
I just get to watch the gameplay haha

Haven't had a 'break' from my LO yet. I think the most time I have gotten away from him was like 2 hours when I went grocery shopping and by the end of it I was wanting to go home because I missed him to much xD

It was really neat! They'd play older movies. And it was cool for me b/c half the time I never got a chance to see those in theaters xD

It was a no-brainer for everyone in my family that the kids were just going to stay home. Florida is a dumpster fire when it comes to education even before the virus was a thing lmao
We've just been checking the school website and watching the news. Supposedly home-schooled kids can pick up school assigned tablets but they haven't said when. Or given out any kind of curriculum. -shrugs-

It's so disheartening to them! The kids just don't seem to completely understand why you can't play with others or hang out with your friends ;m;

I'm sure this is the one year kids are actually looking forward to going back to school lol
