It's free and has a pretty big community. It was fairly easy to find tutorials to follow. I used it pretty extensively in college b/c I was to broke for Illustrator and the school computers were always locked up when I needed them >:(

I found vector art to be a lot easier in Inkscape than Illustrator. Though I'd still prefer Illustrator for letter work.

I think once I get comfortable inking again I'll mess with CSP's vector lineart

I never could get into Sai. For a long time I used Firealpaca to ink and then PS to color. Then I did solely vectors when I was taking figure drawing classes. I was so tired of doing charcoal drawings all day I just wanted to shut my brain off for a bit lol

Yeah, I'm just doodling right now. Trying to get the feel for it. I finally got the pen pressure where I want it so that helped tremendously lol. I haven't drawn extensively on the computer since... 2016??? Which is coincidentally when my old laptop stop letting me run PS for more than 10 mins at a time haha

Do you have any CSP tutorials you would recommend? I'm trying to give it an honest go since I don't have PS anymore and Fire Alpaca just doesn't do everything I need. :(

Lucky them lol. I've been looking off and on for a roommate but I'd rather have someone I know. She wants to move out of our parent's house. It's a win/win as far as I'm concerned. Except for having to deal with her ~bf~ but let's not think about that hahaha
