We can if you want or we can just modify the original weapons to be more high-tech and slightly more modern-ish. (Ie a crossbow that can shoot multiple arrows at once) Instead of something like guns.

Well I feel we should provide kind of a background description of some sort. Either in one of the intro posts. Or we could start it that way. Example: One of our characters could be hearing the news of the New Ring of Power being discovered.

Okay thanks! Because I was thinking of having my character coming from the Undying Lands to Middle Earth. So that will help me with developing her.

To clarify, you mean like it's possible but not recommended and it's not really seen highly of? Or we shouldn't do it?

Okay! I'm back now! And thanks! It was a good dinner. Do you think it should be possible for those who have gone to the undying lands to come back across to Middle Earth since this is a modern AU? Or if it's still a one-way thing, someone born over there could come to Middle Earth to live?
