Somethings that help me ground, are being in nature if you are able. I know sometimes PTSD comes on quickly and being able to go outside isn’t always an option. If it’s not an option I will (as strange as it may sound) sit or lay on the floor.

There are times that the images/memories flood me, and lying in bed, where I feel safe is good until I can focus on my breathing.

Sometimes I loose myself in art or writing, other times I allow the wave of emotions to run through me and cry it all out.

I try to gravitate towards a color combo, or if an item really draws me in, I will start with that.

Sometimes it takes me a while to tweak things how I like.

Do you prefer to layer? Sometimes I will utilize the shops to help show me how items layer.

I always struggle with hair when I’m making an avatar.

Last night my wife and I did a small ritual.
I worked on something’s I want to manifest.
I also made my mom’s cookie recipes, to try and help me get into the spirit.

@bonnie: I’m glad to hear it’s moving along quickly, I know sometimes uninterrupted time alone with yourself can seem to drag, but it could also be the self care that’s needed and often neglected too.

It’s hard for me to decide but recently my favorite is Granny Smith apples dipped in Carmel sauce.

This may sound strange, but I need to take notes sometimes for me to fully focus on a subject I’m learning.

I recently got back into painting/sculpting but nothings catches my interest for long these days.
