@inatlaka:
The reaping bundle you offered was the '19 one, I'm unfortunately only looking for the '18 one ^^

@koneko:
I had a difficult time not only making the shape of the cards, but making two that would look good together, so maybe I'll play around with it some more at some point
I just finished it when I posted, so waiting and checking it out again in a couple days sounds like a great idea

@Alethna:
That's probably why I've seen it before, then! aw, that's sweet

@koneko:
Thank you :> I just can't help but feel that the edges look too "soft", or that the whole thing just looks pillow shaded ;;

@Alethna:
I've never hear of that program before, looks really great for creating sprites though!
and your bf's game looks amazing :viohearteyes: think I've seen screenshots of it before!

I hope everyone had a great New Year's eve!

So I tried to do some "red envelopes" for the chinese new year's promt, they didn't turn out that great though xD

They're supposed to say 福, which should mean "blessed", or something like that?
I'd really like feedback, because I have no idea how to shade a flat object like this without making it look... Unshaded?

@Glume:
The texture one looks super useful! With dithering I guess the most difficult part for me is making it work in the actual piece~

─ ──┤├────────── ─

@Glume:
I see! I've always found dithering difficult, though it can result in some amazing pieces like yours c:

─ ──┤├────────── ─

@koneko:
That looks amazing! :viohearteyes:

@Glume:
That is so stunning!! Do you usually use dithering when you make pixel art, or does it depend on what you're making?

@koneko:
I absolutely LOVE your rattie! The colors, the swirl in the ear and the pattern just looks amazing!
I don't know if it's a style choice, but either way [here] is a nice simple how-to on pixel line cleanup ^^

@Jolly:
Those sprites are adorable! I especially love the one with the green dress :viohearteyes:

@Priestess of pie:
Those kitties in your signature are just too cute! Love the way you shaded the fur c:

@koneko: Thank you!
Pixel art can look completely different at original size compared to zoomed in, so it's fun to see the differences!
