"Don't you mean hot?" The energetic young man replied before shaking his head; even he knew that pun was bad.

He then rummaged through his costume before pulling out a ticket and handing it over without saying another word. At that point, officers were finally arriving and he knew it would be in his best belief to make himself scarce. Not only for his sake but probably for the one who he had temporarily teamed up with.

As he left, the chatter of bystanders could be heard. Most were in a bit of an awe over what had occurred but some where muttering something regarding the young man; specifically the name Sunspot. A name the young man hadn't heard uttered for over a year now.

The villain then proceeded to grab large clusters of metal debris from the street and roll them around in his hands like clacking stress spheres. This tenacious attitude got a sigh out of the sunny young man who looked at his watch and gave a deep sigh.

"This guy is going to make me late for my gig; guess I'll need to end this quickly, here and now." He groaned as his hands began to glow with an intense light and give off immense heat.

With a burst of speed, the young man rushed in close and grabbed a hold of the villain's hands and proceeded to release the heated energy from his own; causing the metal to weld to the villain's hands.

"What have you done to me?" The villain cried in anguish as he collapsed on to the ground, frantically trying to remove the metal from his hands.

"I wouldn't do that, you'll just tear your flesh from your body that way." The sunny young man stated before turning his attention to the other young man.

"He shouldn't be much of a problem from here on, I'll leave the rest to you." He stated while walking by.

"Cut that one a bit close, huh?" Commented a young man of similar age who was standing behind the large man.

This young man was wearing a red and yellow sweater jacket, a pair of cargo shorts, arm and leg stockings and a pair of goggles atop of his head.

" Huh, who are you?" He snarled back as he picked up a rock.

"Oh I get it, you're this punk's accomplice, ain't ya?"

The young man looked over at the other one who had blocked the attack; he saw a noticeable wince on his face.

"Nope, never seen him before..."The young man stated with a shrug.

"...But that won't stop me from intervening in this crime." He added before pointing a finger at the large man in similar fashion to holding a gun.

The young man then mouthed the word, bang, and with a sudden burst of light, the large man crumbled down to his knees; stating that he was blind.

"Now's your chance, get out of here." The young man suggested with a motion to tell them to escape.

"Very well then, I'll quickly contact my provider with my script slate to arrange a meeting."Replied Ryan as he pulled out a smart phone and began texting.

"Hopefully they'll get back to me sooner than later."He added.

"How severe are we talking?"Samuel asked, ignoring their question.

"If its bad enough to cause significant and frequent drops in blood glucose you should probably be on something; altered metabolism or not, dropping that low may lead to further complications."He stated as stroked his chin as though trying to recall what he had been taught.

"Although, with you being a dragon, my understanding of your condition may be inaccurate..."Samuel stated with a sigh.

"Oh, I'm type one diabetic and my glucose levels have a tendency to spike into dangerous levels; however, when they do drop they drop significantly."Samuel replied.

"Its a hereditary thing, I try my best to maintain it but that's easier said than done."He added.

"After countless trials, I've found that mixture is the best way for me to deal with lower levels without risking my levels rising too high."Samual stated confidently.

"To be honest...I'd be more relaxed having you around."Samuel stated bluntly.

"As for your glucose....."He added as he rummaged around for a canister.

"Drink this, its a formula that I've developed that is bound to give someone a safer spike in their sugar levels; something I've had do deal with for a long time."Samuel stated handing the canister over to Eke.

Samuel looked over to the farthest corner of his van before groaning and rubbing the back of his neck; he was about to do something he wasn't sure if it would bite him later but he had a feeling he had to.

"Hey...if you want, you can come along for the time; I could use an assistant."Samuel suggested.

"I'm heading to next town over in the north; there's someone I have business with."Samuel replied as he finally made his way over to the van and placed his camping gear in.

"Other than that....I still have a ways to go to reach my final destination."He added ominously.

"My provider has that settled."Ryan stated bluntly.

"She's a powerful mystic has been able erect a barrier in which only those we unanimously agree are allowed to enter may pass, on top of that, she has been able to find allies who believe in my quest; the oracle for example."He added as the bell for lunch rang.

"Seems like we must return, hopefully no harm will brought to us on our way back."Ryan commented as he stood up and fixed his uniform cloak.

"Maybe I can negotiate with me provider to allow you through the barrier."

"Yes, cause your stomach wasn't growling a little bit earlier...."Samuel sighed.

"As for what I do....I'm a doctor, therefore, I offer my services to those who normally can't afford health care."Samuel added.

"There are far too many people whose health could be bettered if only there wasn't a price to pay for; I've made it my personal agenda to help as many people as I can before I die."He stated.

"Wherever I'm needed..."Samuel simply stated as they finally made they're way to the camp ground.

"I need to start packing up, inside my tent should be a cooler with some drinks and a back pack with a few remaining sandwiches; just keep away from the alcohol."He added as he stepped over and knelt down beside the fire pit and deconstructed it.

"Once you get your fill you can help me by bringing my stuff over to my van over there."Samuel stated as he motioned over to a well used mini van off to the side that led to a path out of woods.

"Oh right, I suppose with this many people around it would be difficult for me to use my hero arts if a battle were to break out."Ryan stated in agreement as he sat down.

"I suppose now would be a good time to explain the situation."Ryan added as he clasped his hands.

"About two years ago, back when I was still going by my human name, I found out the truth about this world and the horrors that live within it."Ryan stated with a serious tone.

"The dark lords have existed alongside the people of Revia for longer than most can recall and I, a hero chosen by the oracle , has been tasked with defeating them by cleansing the once pure crystals that grant power to the residents of this world."He explained further.

"The oracle also told me, that very special individuals such as yourself, will be chosen to fight alongside me and as such are unaffected by the impurity of the crystals and as such, their powers remain in tact.Ryan added with a deep sigh of relief.

"Man, its been really difficult up to this point....."He groaned.
