@Totalanimefan: I was up until 4am last night and I've only been awake since 2pm. It's very inconsistent but it's never a normal sleep routine.

Oh that's very odd... It could most definitely be some sort of spirit, or from the sound of it, two kinds.
The TV phenomenon could likely be a bored poltergeist, which are known for being able to manipulate the physical environment. I'd be cautious when dealing with this one, because while they are usually harmless, they can become dangerous. Considering how long this one has been here, it may be trapped, so a banishing spell could potentially free it.
The light orbs, however, are their own kind of ghost. These are simply the souls of dead people or animals in their first form, before they take on a full-bodied appearance. They can't cause much harm.

@Shark: that's fair! not everyone is big on the fandom. I was inactive after the flash-drive puzzle and only got back into the fandom side of things when I heard Scaled and Icy was coming out.
