These 3 stood out to me:
1. http://nl.freepik.com/vrije-vector/halloween-banners-met-donkere-landschappen_1305846.htm
#1 is interesting, in a similar way to #2.
2. http://nl.freepik.com/vrije-vector/halloween-banners-met-kwade-pompoenen_1314366.htm
#2 made me look at it the longest. The colors are non-traditional for halloween, but they made it work well!
3. http://nl.freepik.com/vrije-vector/nacht-landschap-kerkhof-banners_1315026.htm
#3 reminds me of the Nightmare before Christmas. The gnarled tree in the moon is so iconic.
If your blog has a lot of gifs, I'd go for something simple like:

I think it has a cinematic feel (like shadow puppet play).
I like the bottom banner of this one just because of the pumpkins. overall, it gives off a "feel-good" halloween vibe.
