@aellotyphoeus: Yeah, there's a fair amount of attention to detail on these bases without them being either identical or ridiculously different. And yeah, those kinds of subtleties can make or break some avis. Like on Gaia I literally had a magical girl cosplay avi (well crossdressing magical boy) that I had to rework because a couple of items didn't layer right on the male base.
@fielkun: Exactly! I wish more people would get that.
@bill cipher: I can very well understand wanting to stay away from there.

@aellotyphoeus: That's cool too. ^^ I have a few masculine male OCs (my one female OC is also masculine but since we're specifically talking manly men here) but I don't do too much with them. ^^; But of course the whole fun of dressup games is being able to make your avi look however you want c:
(I wish a lot of people on Gaia got that enough to -not- give me crap about my crossdressing avis/OCs. But we're not on Gaia and here I haven't gotten any crap about it.)

@AelloTyphoeus: I pretty much only do male avis but just about all of them are crossdressing >>;

I'm still on Gaia. I lurked the AF for quite a while, but even that has mostly lost its charm, and I'm mostly just on because I have enough friends on there that it's worth logging in to talk to them. If any of you do happen to go back on feel free to add me; I'm Orville Bearclaw there too.

@aellotyphoeus: I'm a bit tired, but my grandmother (who has been sick lately) seems to be on the upswing, so I'm honestly doing pretty good right now.
