Favorites can change too! Ask me tomorrow and I may give you a different answer.

I feel that way about some things, but other things I'm like, no it's definitely this one.

That being said I half expect several "rainbow" entries considering the crew around here haha.

Yes I agree this may just be an exploratory stage since it's a new location for them.

If it continues however, the only thing you can do is make a space for them to do whatever activity they're doing. My cat Tumbleweed loves to climb to high places so I make sure there's places he's allowed to climb. It generally keeps him off the kitchen counters though he'll still jump up there because he's an attention seeking drama queen. He won't do it if no one is watching though.

Happy Birthday!

Enjoy your Little Debbie.

It's good to see you! I hope you'll get a little time to yourself once in a while. Kids are very demanding, but hopefully very rewarding for you.

With cats it's hard because you can't force them. THEY have to decide it's ok to do something. The best you can do is to just be present. Talk to her and stay in the room with her for a while, even when she doesn't come out. You can give her the slow blink to show her you're not a threat. Bribe her with toys and/or treats. If you can get her to play that's a fun activity that doesn't require a lot of contact.

Basically it just takes time to build trust.

As for the playpen (or any new furniture) cats don't like things that smell foreign to them. In your case it may not help since she's still new to your household, but it may help to put like... a blanket or something in there so she has something more familiar.

I can't rank them but here's a list of some I really love:

D.Gray-Man: It's really weird and has a lot of crazy character designs, but I LOVE THEM ALL SO MUCH. I cried like every episode (I laughed too).

Violet Evergarden: Speaking of crying, get hydrated because you're going to need it.

Slayers: Speaking of laughing. This is still one of my favorites even after all this time. It's just SO FUNNY. (ps. don't watch the dub ever)

Mushishi: It's just so chill and interesting. I love Ginko and how he handles things with an open mind. (Honorable mention to Natsume Yuujinchou which has a very similar vibe, but 100% more cat)
I like both honestly, but they convey very different moods
Have I ever told you how cool I think your style is? Because it's rad. Vibrant. Full of energy.

Ah a pity... Miitomo was really cute. It was a HUGE resource hog though so I couldn't even keep it on my phone. I guess we'll always have Tomodachi Life.
