@MoodyBats: Aw. I hope you can play it soon then.
I sorta 'play' it together with my girlfriend sometimes. She does the playing and I help her choose outfits and build houses.
We got really into it with one household. We found a playmate for the daughter of the household and as time went on, the playmate ended up becoming a girlfriend and then a wife. It was cute. Brandy and Claire were fun to choose outfits for.
Brandy started out girly but ended up becoming a tomboy, and the girlfriend, Claire, was a book-ish girl that had a passion for grilled cheese. Hahah

@MoodyBats: We do cold brew in our fridge, inside a large glass jar. Don't know exactly how big it is, maybe 2-3 gallons. We use about a pound of freshly ground beans inside a clean pillow case, and soak it for about 24-48 hours. It makes a strong coffee concentrate that you can water down and heat as you like.
Since we don't drink coffee too often, it lasts us a while.
Despite the long prep time, we like it because the coffee turns out less bitter and acidic.
Because of that, my girlfriend managed to cut down on using sugar and creamer by a lot.
Edit: My girlfriend was asking why I suddenly wanted to know how big our glass jar was.
When I explained why she told me "stop pushing your religion on others." Pfft!

@MoodyBats: Cool. Have you personally tried it?
Lots of people swear by their french presses and whatnot,
but I gotta say, taking the extra time to do cold brew is worth it.

@Dread Pirate: Concerning my username. The short of it: Started using it back in grade school because of the game Runescape.
The name was meant to be 'Rallah.' Instead of the double AA ending, but a miscommunication with a friend lead to where I am now.
You play 3.5 edition or something? Ever tried 5th edition?

@Glume: They didn't want to let you play back in high school?
By the way, could you tell me about the number 5?

@Glume: Yep. He's the best online DM I've found so far.
And he includes 'the little things' often, yknow.
A couple of sessions ago we helped a giant eagle that was chained to a deeply rooted stake in the ground. It flew off and my character blew his signal whistle in a way to make it sound like an eagle cry, and it replied back.
Last session as we're traveling, he describes us seeing 'a familiar large bird flying by in the distance,' and my character did another call back and forth.

@HAKXAH: Definitely recommend looking into it. Never been a better time to try it actually. The latest edition is super easy to get into. It gets a bit more complicated if you include the extra material the game makers have released, but if you stick to the Players Handbook, you can't go wrong. (Except if you want to play a Beast Master Ranger. Look up the revised ranger in that case.)
