Just some input for the above discussion,
Why not reverse it?
Like for example the snake charmer skirt with leg mod...

The current one have the colours in 3 different skin tone.. So:
Midnight colour : 3 pose
Green colour : 3 pose
Yellow : 3 pose
So that would be 9 pose in total with 3 choice of skin tone

What if we did everything in default 1 skin tone only..
Then have another pose (the skin tones) to layer on top of the default 1 skin tone of the items?
Skirts in default 1 skin tone : 3 pose ( Midnight, Green, Yellow )
Default 2 - 6 skin overlay layer : 5 pose
That would be 8 pose in total with all choice of skin tone
