Oh I've been there. Also when the tip of your finger gets really hot for some reason???? Yeah it's literally the worst especially when you type at home and at work as much as I do.

@Angelus: Actually we won't be going to New York City at all! Staten Island, Queens, Brooklyn, and Suffix County (Long Island) mostly!

@butterfly: I've been to Staten Island plenty since, but I honestly cannot remember the last time I was where I grew up or at the beach. Like it's been A LONG time.

@Zuggy: I personally believe the best mods are ones that know the site and are familiar with its practices, but aren't heavily known or involved in one particular community. Allows them to be more impartial. Others will argue that they aren't 'from the site' or 'don't truly understand' but eh...

@Zuggy: Oh yeah, I modded on rec which lead to me being burnout super quick because apparently we were always the bad guys ; /// ; Rec got better though, good crew and all. It's just my whole mod team is gone and I don't want to go back tbh lol.

@Zuggy: Yeah sometimes there's some bad apples and shitty things that make you leave. I left recolor for that reason. Just burnout you know? But yeah it feels nice being a new member and getting into a site when it's young again ;;

I pitched the idea to my mom (because I hate travelling alone) and she seemed to be really into it! We live in Jersey now but we use to live in New York. I've been itching to go back and just see what's changed since we've moved like... 17 years ago now. And we could also see my grandmother! And go put flowers on my grandfathers' graves! And go to the beach and see our old houses! It just sounds like a good causal kind of vacation ya know? So I'm kinda excited!
