@monkey baby: oh man lemme tell you. just recently i've been told that playing the jigsaw game doesn't give any volts, for some reason, so the only way you can actually get volts is through clicking the blimp (daily chance) for volts, giving out services for volts, selling stuff, or just interacting on the forums. i don't know if this'll ever get a fix in the future, but these are your only options for making money at the moment.

@Vampiretaco: i searched up what moussaka is, and i have to say it looks delicious. i might try and make it in the future, or perhaps i'll stumble across a restaurant that serves moussaka! though, where i live, it's gonna be a rare occurrence that it will be served anywhere. ^^;; and thank you for the ingredients list and directions, i might make it sometime this week or just save it for later.

@Nephila: wait really? well, i guess we'll have to wait and see if the blackjack game ever pops up here. i guess for the time being i'll be setting up an art shop, since it's my only way atm of making any volts. i'm okay with the idea of making an art shop since one: i get paid and two: i get to draw more, but then i'll have to figure out prices and set deadlines and whatnot so BLEH i'm admittedly very screwed!

@miss sandman: i get that, jigsaw is very infuriating if you don't have the patience. and i don't have the patience so >>:( i torture myself with jigsaw.

@bioshock: i see. i do remember the thing about having "mule" accounts, so i understand what you mean by that. and if i'm not wrong, this site is still growing, so there's not a ton of things to do here.

@sunny: thank you, and yes i've been on avatar sites before. it's just that my first genuine avatar site experience (dappervolk) already had a storyline out way before i joined, so my experiences over on that site and this one are a lot different. over there is a lot more grindy and whatnot, and over here... there's not much for me to do, so that kinda was disconcerting at first. sorry if it was a dumb question, it's kinda my fault for not reading through the past event logs.

i'll be waiting for vibrance day to come along though! it sounds like an interesting event.

before i ask my question, let me preface this: i know this is a broad question. there's a million answers to this very basic question, but i'm genuinely curious.

i have a few other questions, so here's a list of them down below. also: please specify which question you're answering! i know that's a weird request, but it's just so i know which questions are being answered.

1. is there a main storyline or lore i'm supposed to be following? if not, are the npcs just here to enrich this site?
2. how do i gain volts aside from having a shop or interacting on the forums? is there a way to gain volts through another source?
3. are there quests i'm supposed to do?

i should've asked these right when i joined, but i never really got the chance to do so.

tbh nothing much happened except for the fact i barely slept until 3am @_@ though i did get some work for this week, so i'm quite good!

it's never easy to answer anything in my case because i don't get attached to anything that easily, i guess? i don't have many favorite things basically.

like if you asked me "what's your favorite color?" i choose yellow as a default even though all the colors are fine and dandy in their own way. for music, it's all of them, and everything else is gonna receive a vague answer because i'm constantly changing and switching aesthetics and whatnot.
