And it's taught in school, but usually only spoken in like touristic places/retail when needed to communicate with non dutch speakers
unsure what the average level/amount of english spoken is cause most of the english i learned was learned outside of school :')

chances are you did it right, it's quite a simple word in our language
describing sounds in different languages is hard though cause you gotta stop and think how they pronounce the letters so you don't get some weird word

cause the way you guys pronounce ''oo'' over here it would be written as ''oe'' yes describing words is a tricky thing haha
so different from what anemoon is pronounced haha

and anemone sounds exactly like someone wanted to make life hard like
if someone would make me read something out loud with that word in it can promise you i would have butchered it lmao

is spelled anemoon (well i think zeeanemoon which is sea anemone cause apparently we have other non water flowers that are called like that lol)

any way it would be pronounced
