There once was a zombie named Elmo
Who loved to eat a brain or two
Then one day the brains were gone
And Elmo didn’t know what to do!
He searched high and low
He searched far and wide
But everywhere he searched
It seemed all the brains died.
Elmo cried, Elmo wept
But he did not admit defeat.
If there were no brains
Then he would have to find something else to eat.
The stores were empty, the malls were clean
He could find shoes. He could find Plushies.
He could not find any food… Until…
He found a true golden Slushie.
Elmo screamed in joy at the taste.
His cold dead insides felt bliss from the freeze.
He jumped up and down, now full and proud.
He finally found food that did not scream pleas.
There once was a zombie named Elmo.
Who loved to eat a slushie or two.
Full fat and happy was he
And that is all he ever wished to be.
