I 100% always recommend the Kate Daniels series! There are ten total and I love it so much. I have read it like 5 times.
Link to first book.
It's slow burn urban fantasy and it has everything from vampires to shifters (and the shifters are things from hyena to wolves to lions) plus a lot of other myths. 10/10

Kate Daniels is a down-on-her-luck mercenary who makes her living cleaning up magical problems. But when Kate’s guardian is murdered, her quest for justice draws her into a power struggle between two strong factions within Atlanta’s magic circles. Pressured by both sides to find the killer, Kate realizes she’s way our of her league—but she wouldn’t want it any other way…

Do you have a favorite item you wished more people used just because you love it so much and feel it has a lot of creativity/even if its used a lot you just adore seeing it being used?
What is your favorite item to see on other avatars?
I personally love seeing when people use Oracle or Key to Heaven as they are some of my favorite items on the site.
Also shameless plug but if you like common items I host a common item event from time to time with round five coming soon :)

Not sure if this is intentional but if you pair ballad of the bard tree with cleric spell it makes the tree disappear but the branches stay?
But if you use the goetia summoning circle it stays.

It’s actually kinda slow for the parks! Right now the longest wait time is for Dudley do right at 65 minutes and gringotts for the other park. There were a lot of cancellations but locals love coming or trying to stay I. The hotels during one (since power food and water will be there).
It’s a shame how nice it actually is right now since I’m still stuck at home and would rather head to the beach or pool

Well I am in the theme park industry though thankfully back of house (and work from home right now) so there is always a need for bodies to come trudging through the storms as guests will still be coming to the park. Tbh it might even be busier tomorrow.

What made me switch my major to anthropology was a world religions class I took at my community college! Dr. Bob was an Amazing well rounded man with a lot of world experience. He wrote the text book himself and it was only $15 to buy as it was sold at cost to student. We went over 40 religions across the world both current and dead!
We even talked about like shinto, Wicca, the Flying Spaghetti Monster, and the church of the flying unicorn.
My anthropology of the undead went over like the history of zombies and voodoo and the cultural phenomenon that vampires have played on the world (even like chi vampires and these tiger vampires I cannot remember the name of)
Also watching Shawn of the dead was an assignment which was a+
I enjoyed the ancient Egyptian class a lot mostly because once upon a time I just wanted to be an Egyptologist.
But I did kinda end up apply my anthropology degree to work since I focused on the cultural aspects I actually work in the international HR department for the company I work for! We focus mainly on our shared partners in China and Japan but it still counts :D

I graduated about three years ago with a BA in anthropology! I also got to take some of the best classes
Life and death in ancient Egypt
Archaeology of Caribbean piracy
Anthropology of the undead (vampires witches and zombies)
Plus like 8 Native American classes because the teacher was super interesting

I love when the serious hurricanes hit at night because I just go to bed and it’s over. It’s the worst when you’re wide awake the power is off and you just hear everything. I can’t remember if it was Irma or Matthew that hit us last time (I live in Orlando) I was kinda terrified since it was suppose to be a cat 5 and hit us direct on and in the middle of the night it was like nah I want those east coast beaches.
Though I never know if I’ll have to work through them as the only time work actually closes is for the more serious hurricanes.
