oh sorry my brain was a bit..distracted when i was posting we where conversing i was just kinda tired, in pain and wanting my leg up. well we got me my Ibuprofen, i have food cookign that the roomies doing and i has soda so im in tip top shape..

My two cents: If the driftwood is somewhat close by, Vregory can use the pillow to extend his reach. Then use the driftwood to paddle closer to the boy. Unless land is nearby, stay out of the water.
