Lina- I saw that they made an Animal Crossing Monopoly game. I kind of want it, but on the other hand, I never play Monopoly, so I'm not sure how much use I'd get out of it

And we made it to page 60!

koneko- That's true. There's always more to learn, even in your native language~

I only know maybe 20 characters? I wouldn't be able to write them though. I don't know the stroke orders

Thanks for the tickets Static!

koneko- That makes sense! Vocabulary feels endless. There are always more unfamiliar words I don't know. The Naver Dictionary site is my savior in that regard

The only Chinese characters I know are the ones for like gate, person, woman, and such

koneko- I imagine Japanese reading must be difficult with the kanji. Korean just has an alphabet, so it's not so bad. Even if you don't understand it, at least you can know how it's pronounced. Well, there are some Chinese characters still used in the news and such, but I only know a few of them. I'd like to learn some more of them, but it's not the most necessary thing to learn

koneko- Yeah, it's just for Russian. There are other sites I have for reading, but I think they're all specifically for Russian. And for Korean, I just read books, so I don't really know any sites for reading practice in multiples languages. I'm sure there are probably similar sites for other languages though

But I shall try to get a few posts in here and there

At the moment I'm doing some Russian studying using this site. I like that it has audio and how the structure of the English translations match the Russian sentences.

I've gotten three of the event items so far. I need 700 confetti for the last two. I'd like to get some goodie bags or a bundle too, but I don't know how much confetti I'll end up with

30 minutes of intensive Korean reading completed!
I'm reading the Korean translation of Harry Potter. I tried reading it before, but the translation wasn't the best. Now I'm reading a newer translation that seems a lot more natural and better. I kind of abruptly stopped in the middle of the third 고양이 학교 (Cat School) book to read Harry Potter, but I'm sure I'll get back to it eventually

@The Bride: I watched a lot of tv shows when I was a kid, and I watched some when I was a teenager, but since then I haven't watched many. I've watched some Korean variety shows, but I haven't really watched many series, dramas, or such
