@Yuracye: I'm debating on whether to save up again for a samurai shock and other quest goals or to try to go for the costume contest for the event. There's multiple entries per person so I could go all out and splurge on commons.

@FuuChan: I know what you mean about the pen name thing. I struggled with that for a while. x-x In the end I felt like no name I picked was going to sound "me" until I started using it to identify myself, so I just rolled with something and figured I could change later on down the road. (Although now I'm sort of stuck with it for a while, but that's okay because it's grown on me a lot.)

That's what I like about services that allow you to hanger your name frequently (like Steam for example). You get to try out lots of different name-identities, and throw a bunch out, and keep for later the ones that you identify with.
