@Jolly: my title is silly, i'm the director of internal affairs for the largest distro in my industry. i'm basically the on-staff problem solver. i facilitate projects between departments, co-manage the sales team, help pick which products to bring in, host parties for the manufacturers (they like to show up completely unannounced and when they come we must entertain them lol... this is usually not too great on my liver) among many other things. basically if it's an internal process, i have my hands in it.
