I've been good! Today was my first Saturday off from work in a really long time so I slept in really late and then discovered this site shortly after waking up and.. the rest is history! LOL. I'll probably go to sleep really late tonight because of how long I slept, but no regrets because I work late tomorrow anyways~

[ untitled poem! ]
i found kindness in your hands
calloused from holding and lifting
others, not as if they were anchors
but wounded fledglings needing faith
to fly above the clouds once more.

i found loyalty in your smile
crooked from baring itself in
the face of adversity; not out
of stubbornness, but a desire
to never dampen brilliance.

i found honesty in your cheeks,
how they never pretended
to feel something they didn’t;
painted warm from the genuine
admiration of strangers and
friends alike.

i found trust in your eyes,
how they twinkled and shined;
humble and excited
in such an unabashed way
that the world could never take.

Locked due to 6+months of inactivity in the thread. If you would like this thread unlocked, please PM a mod.

I was in the suggestion forum, just perusing, and apparently this forum is meant for literature as well as visuals. I noticed some people saying they didn't feel that Artist Galleries was really for writing and I felt that maybe posting some of my own writing would help ease others into posting their own!

I'll update this post when I post a new work on later pages.

You may post here whenever, to talk about my writing or even your own (just put it under a spoiler)~

@Yuracye: Ah, I love watercolors so much! I wish I had better control over the paint xD Do you prefer chibis over other styles?
