Gotta screenshot those precious moments, and also record cutscenes whenever I can (though I keep forgetting to shorten the recording time and raise the quality, so it's all PotatOS footage).
My Discord profile picture is actually a clipping from one of my favourite screenshots: loading into the Leviathian raid for the first time with my clan buddies! Moments like that... moments like that are one of the reasons why I love gaming. <3

Shoot, I haven't played a game with any type of space combat since the Ratchet and Clank series...unless spacewalking around an orbital station in Destiny 2 counts? |D Such pretty ships, but zero space combat...so much potential!
Actually, I totally forgot about Starbound which is unbelievable because I was so addicted to that game for a while. c': Very good! Lots of fun, lots of freedom to play your way too.. well, kinda. The first level and getting the feel of the game was a real trial for me lol.
Come to think of it, Rogue Squadron II for the GameCube wasn't all bad, though IIRC the controls were wanting.
I did have some friends who played EVE and Warframe, and both have piqued my interest, but the last thing I need is another game to grind. oTL

Aight so on the one hand, my interest is piqued, cause Mountain Dew...but is it still caffeinated? If so, that'd absolutely give me a heart attack, but it's still a neat concept. Imagine, regular Dew during daytime gaming, then cracking open one of these bad boys during Raid night! We just need a Mountain Dew electrolyte / hydration supplement to round out our liquid intake needs. |D

Your responses do indeed influence the item you receive; a prize pool is generated based upon your answers from which the final prize is randomly drawn!
There is a system in place designed to reduce the chances of getting a very basic item for Ohms submissions, but it can happen.
There is not any dupe protection, but if we do a similar feature in the future, that is something I will definitely consider. c:

Alright gang, goes without saying that this thread will probably contain spoilers so please direct your eyeballs elsewhere if you don't want to be spoiled. c:
ANYWAY
Has anyone else watched the new Matrix film yet? What are your thoughts?
I liked the execution of a lot of the ideas, but not the content of the ideas themselves. Wasn't a fan of the meta-storyline. Or the way everyone acted like digital Morpheus was the real Morpheus.
With all the clips from the original film....the entire time, it felt like Wachowski was shoving all this stuff in our faces as if she didn't trust us to notice it or pick up on it ourselves? i.e. All the parallels and nods between the two stories. It often felt like too much, or felt corny; like the entire film was built upon the back of the very first one. Imho a subtler approach would have been more satisfying.
All in all, it seemed like a lot of preamble for a little action. As soon as the film started to really feel like The Matrix, it was over. I smell another two films coming; here's to hoping they pack a little more punch.
I gotta say though that Keanu is a better actor now than he was back then, so I guess there's that lol
The Matrix is one of my all-time favourite franchises, so I'm torn between excitement and sadness. Is this how the original Star Wars fans felt when the prequel trilogy was released? Because now I appreciate their pain. xD

@Totalanimefan: Ah that's true, I recall seeing a chart about ideal brewing temperatures. Dunno why I forgot about black tea but for the longest time I wasn't a fan of green tea...until I learned I'd been burning it the whole time.
I'm dying to try some authentic Japanese matcha but the good stuff is expeeensive and I can't justify that expense on tea. |D

That being said, I'm in no position to point fingers because I usually just stick the bag in a mug of water and microwave the whole thing for 3 minutes. Too lazy to clean out / refill the kettle on a regular basis oTL

That's a lot of activity! Tbh even if your in-laws hadn't passed something on to you, it seems like you'd still be feeling pretty drained after all that! Don't tell me you weren't drinking tea every moment you were there lol
