@Panda: AHAHA You're so right. It's not that mini, is it!? xD
We're trying to make our larger/main Surges happen on the 1st and 15th of each month. So as a result, announcements in between should be "mini." :vanora_xd:
Posted in Mini-Surge: Flips Light Switch Posted 7 years ago
@Fielkun: Curious Case sets have not been distributed yet. You'll receive a PM from me when I've granted it to your account.
Posted in Mini-Surge: Flips Light Switch Posted 7 years ago
@Raxton: Thank you for asking and I'll make sure to edit this into the announcement.

*The First Aid (Blackout Goodie Bag) does not include the April Fools' Curious Case set.*

@Panda: Unfortunately, since this is a site wide event and has its own currency the goodie bags will not be available for volts OR ohms.
On the bright side, every Voltie was granted one for free!

UPDATE: You've all unlocked the 250k Milestone item Cityscape which has been added to your inventories. You may purchase extras from OMG Imports until next Saturday!

Those who did participate in The Curious Case of Vontell will receive a PM from me when I've granted their sets. Since this is a user-by-user process I plan to have this completed asap, but no later than the end of tomorrow, Friday 4/6. ^^

@Saeyra: I can't say we'll change this layout, but I am working with our devs to get the layout preference feature completed. So if the daylight layout isn't your cup of tea, you'll have the option. :)
Posted in omg Posted 7 years ago
There is definitely a shock factor from being total darkness to now having the lights back on. I myself was used to the blackout theme, but I've always adored our original layout and color scheme. I'm hoping we can get the layout preference feature out soon!
Posted in omg Posted 7 years ago
Whoa! Now I understand why y'all wanted a dark theme.

@Juneberry: Yes, thank you! Its on our dev log. :vanora_xd:
Posted in How to see all notifications? Posted 7 years ago
@Juneberry: Our dev has informed me that we can indeed introduce a "view all" option. I have realized that on the homepage you can click on the "notifications" tab that is next to "announcements." That list shows the past 20, where the drop down only shows the past 10 notifications. ^^

I agree with Majesticles. I really like this thread. And the youth that are working with you are very lucky! I have attended many workshops and leadership retreats since I started university 5 years ago. Before that, I was clueless to sexuality, identities, pronouns, etc. I've learned so much and am grateful to posses the little knowledge I have. I could definitely learn more, but what's most important is respecting those of us who are going through the struggles of finding our identities.

I've been fortunate enough to fall on the "privileged" side of things. My sexuality falls along the lines of gay/bi-sexual; I have a boyfriend, so in most eyes I am gay (but I'm also not one for labels.) I've always said you love who you love and it's no one elses business. I feel I am privilege because I had a decent up bringing and though my family never specifically talked about sexuality we're all very accepting. So when I brought my boyfriend of 1 year to my family holidays him and I were welcomed with open arms and had a great time!

I can also speak on personal experience I've done that exact activity on privilege multiple times through my workshops. It really changes your views. Everyone is always focused on themselves and don't realize they're not the only one having obstacles in life. It gave us participants an avenue to express our feelings and connect with those in similar or worse off situations. Never did I or others ahead of me feel that it was our fault for having been more privileged. It's your actions as being someone who is privileged that really matters. And I can say everyone of us who were privileged based on the activity were there to support and uplift those who were "left behind" to say the least.

Well, I guess that's what I have for now - my coffee is getting cold. xD

@nyreen: I pretty much just did the same. :vanora_sweat: Had a grilled cheese, turkey bacon, and an orange. Now just drinking some coffee! Also working on top secret Voltra things! :vanora_sun:
Posted in Fozzy & Friends [UNDER CONSTRUCTION!] Posted 7 years ago
@nyreen: Haiiii! How are you today?

@Lithinel: Chicago is the same! Our weather is so wonky! It'll be a blizzard one second and a sunny clear sky the next. lol
