@lonelylucid: yeah it made me think abt how a lot of my art development as a Youth was from avi sites lol like making avi art
revisiting this kind of style has been interesting and fun to experiment with
i left gaia before all the inflation stuff happened but i watched this one youtube video abt it lol and it's so wild
it's so interesting to see this like virtual economy play out
i think it's also so big that ppl don't really have social consequences or incentive to invest in the community
ya people were super welcoming when i joined! and i noticed that too
it seems organic, i wonder what the correlation is
i appreciate that displaying pronouns is an option and that you can fill them in

@totalanimefan: lol nw, i can be slow at replying so it doesn't bother me at all
cool @ hsr! i didn't know there was stuff underway, that's really exciting ^^
i would love a high speed rail system for around the country, that would be really amazing
and yeah - it's really unfortunate but the mta is pretty underfunded i think
no pressure at all to watch this lol but nyt did a pretty good video on how the mta trains have been slowly getting defunded / profits get put into funding other stuff instead of reinvested
and i agree i feel like a shift towards accessible + clean (environmentally but i guess maybe also hygienically?) public transit will be necessary w climate change, fingers crossed - though i wonder how/if more rural areas would welcome it

is there anything you're feeling optimistic about for the rest of the year?

but that makes sense, i can see how it gets complex with religion too
it's mostly muslim is that right?
ohh is there a set date for when it's considered over or anything like that?
the protests here have been a really big deal, the pandemic feels like an episode from last season on a show or something
do you have to go into work often?
