it kind of feels like a lot of online art communities aren't really the same anymore? i can't tell if they've died down or if i just got older , maybe both
i guess now a lot of it has moved to instagram ?

gouache is like watercolor paint? acrylics are usually cheaper i think and dry fast unlike oil!

it's been a long time since i last was on these kinds of forums, but in recent years i've written more poetry/fiction - can dig up examples if you want?
i'm pretty open -- i have a character loosely based off a dnd character, am pretty flexible / happy to modify for whatever setting you're looking for :-) i would be really into surrealism!

when i get nostalgic sometimes i play flash games on newgrounds and kongregate lol.
i also like emulatoronline.com -- it has a bunch of old games including nintendo ds, gameboy, gameboy advance, etc. like pokemon emerald, legend of zelda etc.
you can also download an emulator + game roms on your computer :-) if you want to play on your laptop instead of in the browser.
i'm on a mac and use openemu to play pokemon games ^^

it's a version of mac ^^ like how windows has xp, vista, 7, etc. mac has yosemite, catalina, etc.
