⠀|⠀post art by kiwi!⠀|⠀spooky chati think w the friends msging first thing tho ... i think it's easy for ppl to think that they do all the reaching out but then maybe like cognitive bias don't realize they've been reached out to? >_> kind of like how drivers are like i'm a great driver and everyone else is bad >_>
or idk, i try not to think of my friendships in a keeping score way ... like if i'm reaching out to a friend more then it's more likely they'll msg me in the future
(just speaking generally though cuz i know that's not always the case......... i do have friends who will radio silence on me for months but it's usually cuz they're .... having a really hard time)

i used to be really bad at replying to messages, i think partly bc i don't like being on my phone and also partly depression lol - and i found out years later that ppl were like really salty abt it
so now i really do make an effort if i know it matters to someone

like we don't get to see each other for some reason or another but when we finally do we'll just pick back up / catch up etc ^^
