omg less than a year old ....... beach puppy circles
dogs at the beach is definitely one of life's joys lol
i think we'll probably still have nice beach weather for another month at least , i hope :-0
i'm glad it's starting to cool down though !! like it's starting to not be gross hot lol but like pleasant

lolol sometimes i set my desktop bgs to cloud pictures and i think it helps u pretend they are windows sometimes too !!
hmm biggest pro is that it pays well Lol tbqh and i'm v lucky my particular workplace is v cushy
cons ... v white male dominated ... lots of institutional racism/sexism which i guess is still true in most industries but i think fairly prominent in tech?
i've given it a lot of thought / do i wanna switch industries but i think ultimately i think it's worth it for me to stay , i do enjoy the work itself and there are some p special niche communities i've found and am grateful for! i also specifically work in machine learning and it's p intellectually interesting + lots of new/exciting things happening in the field currently and for the foreseeable future
also omg the fires qq scary ... hope you're staying safe !!

omg window seat to cubicle lol it’ll be a hard adjustment .... maybe tape a picture of the window view so u can pretend to have a window Lol
yes i work in tech , it ... has its pros and cons lol
it Is draining!! back in office i’d try to make excuses to avoid it ... like walking back to desks after a meeting i’ll go the opposite direction >_>
i did genuinely try at the beginning but after a while i just didn’t want to anymore Lol
(wow as i’m typing this out it sounds like a Problem lol but since were wfh now i can avoid most of it and our interactions are like Just work)

lol i ran out of spinach yesterday! i might finish the rest of my meat n cheese today though
for bread i keep some frozen so if i run out i always have backup wo having to get a whole new thing of bread
and tomato i don’t mind having more of since i’ll cook it for other stuff :3
sandwich ingredients can be ... a never ending cycle sometimes Lol
i do have some crackers tho so i could always finish my meat n cheese on those too :0

yeah i miss my window seat lolol
i don’t miss sitting next to boss boss but i do miss the view!!
haha i work w a bunch of stereotypical computer nerds lol ... they’re fine at their jobs / as people just very stereotypically terrible at socializing Lol
if we have to socialize as a group it’s like playing silence chicken Haha a couple of us have to do most of the heavy lifting and it’s ... too much work lol
