Got a preference? I was thinking Pizza, Japanese, or Thai. he said.

Ryker, meanwhile, was looking at his phone, and then glancing out the window.

"Wonder if he'll respond..." he mumbled.

He went back to work on his laptop.

"......" Ryker was silent as he read the text.

"Yeah, okay, SOMETHING'S going on." he muttered.

"This isn't his behaviour." he commented.

"Wonder if he's still reeling from having to face off to his old man, or not getting to speak with him..." he went on.

He then sighed, looking at the text.

It occurred to him exactly what had been said.

What's Arissa got to do with this? I was asking YOU. he sent.

he sighed frustrated.

Because i wont be home till later. Obviously Arissa would be your dinner date anyways so i dont know why your asking ME

He threw his phone and went back to work now angry.

It was misplaced anger but a lot had happened and he had just realiseed Ryker's attention wasnt his alone anymore

"Wonderful." he growled, tossing his phone beside him and getting up.

"Whatever." he then said, grabbing his phone again, and leaving the house.

"Time to go for a fly." he mumbled, sprouting demonic wings and taking to the sky.

"For the longest time, Ryker's attention has been completely devoted to him, and now there's another loved one in his life." she continued.

"I think he might be a little jealous." she reasoned.

"Odds are Eke gave Ryker a little lip, and he's off to blow off some steam."

"I think this is something that the boys have to figure out for themselves." she lamented.

"Anything we try and do might possibly make it worse." she reasoned.

"If you try and do something, he might see it as further interfering. If I say anything, he may see it as my taking sides." she went on.

"I don't know." she admitted.

She frowned.

"Well...there has to be something." she said sitting down.

"Does ryker drink tea? I may not be able to do much but i do make good tea. And its very relaxing" she said starting a pot.

"I know eke likes tea." she said.

"He...hasnt come home in hours...should we check on him? One time Arkus was pouting and didnt come home all day. When we went to find him the next day he had a really bad flare up and hit his head from passing out" she said now worried

"Well, tea might do them both some good, but not if they're not here." she reasoned.

"I'm going to text Eke." she then said, grabbing her phone.

He heard his phone and ignored it thinking it was ryker.

He didnt feel like having a fight.

He sighed realising it might be aly and went to get his phone.

He got his phone and began to text back.

He didnt get to finish as he felt faint.

He sat down trying to regulate his breathing and managed to text aly.

Ambulance now was all he could manage as his heart raced.

Was he too stressed? He began to panic which made it worse.

Between sharp shallow breaths he texted ryker.

Aly was... quick to respond, to say the least.

Within minutes, paramedics were there, tending to him.

Aly and Arissa went as well, and Ryker was just staring at the text.

"....." he was silent, before starting to fly off.

"I need to get to the hospital. FAST."

He was admitted and seen to a room.

Doctors said he had stressed too much in mixture with not eating properly that caused a panic induced mini heart attack.

He lay in the bed sighing.

At the moment, he was not being allowed visitors... however, when he looked out the window, he saw a familiar figure hovering outside it on his demonic wings.

He waved slightly, before looking around, and slipping inside the room.

"I'm essentially a demon." he said.

"The hell do I care about what the staff says." he chuckled, before sighing.

"So. Looks like you gave us all another scare, huh?" he asked, concern in his tone.

He was pouting again.

"Im surprised you didnt go to Arissa." he said sharply.

He was very obviously jealous. He was scared he wasnt going to be less important.

His face softened and he sighed.

"Im sorry...i just...didnt think about how your attentions now split." he said putting a hand on his chest wincing some.

"I guess i was selfish. And all that on top of my dad..." he said starting to cry.

"You first? Duh." he responded.

"You're my bro. You're family." he smiled.

"Family comes first. Always." he said.

"Well... when they're worthwhile, anyway." he clarified with a light chuckle.

"And was I scared? Maybe not 'scared', but it WAS a bit of a change to get used to." he admitted.

"I wondered if everything would be devoted to Aly, but whatever happened, happened. You and her got into your relationship grove, and that's great." he said.... before sighing again.

"Though, admittedly, there were a couple of times I was scared that you'd abandon me. But I suspect that's some emotional trauma from way back before I met you." he then muttered.
