Ryker blinked a couple of times, before shrugging.

"Hey, not gonna complain." he said.

Once they were all packed up, he started the vehicle, and pulled away from the site.

They were on the road again, and he smiled.

"Whattya want for lunch?" he asked Eke.

"I just got up and ate and your asking about lunch?" he asked from the table inside the rv.

He then just laughed and leaned back.

"You know me. i like meat. mostly fish. Did you know that most dragons are either strictly red meat carnivores or more often, pescatarians?" he said putting up a finger.

"Some are like me and go the omnivore route, but tend to lean more toward pescatarian" he said closing his eyes.

"Got it." Ryker replied.

"And I'm asking so I know ahead of time." he said.

"In case I see a place while we're on the road." he reasoned.

"And I know you just ate, but I also know that doesn't mean you can't know what you want to eat next." he then said.

"Let me know if you see any areas that might be good to explore, as well."

"I was joking ryker" waving his hand and yawning some.

The gentle rumble and bouncing of the rv made him sleepy from his large breakfast.

Wasn't long before he lwas leaned against the little booth he was sitting in, fast asleep.

Rest was good for him and he was having fun

Ryker just sighed and smiled as Eke fell asleep again.

"Heh." he chuckled.

"Go ahead and sleep, Eke." he said.

A few hours later, he happened upon a place with a drive-up, that offered fish and chips. He ordered an extra large portion for Eke, and an order for himself.

He then paid, and parked in one of the parking spaces, waiting for the meal.

In no time, the smell of fish and fries filled the vehicle, and he knew it would wake Eke up.

Why can't I just be

He slowly blinked awake.

He wiped the drool from his face.

"Ryker...?" he groaned sleepily.

He rubbed his face stretching and gave a dragon like yawn.

"What time is it...? How long did i sleep..." he said looking around

"It's 12:20." Ryker responded.

"You've been asleep for a few hours." he told him.

"Thought you'd like some lunch." he chuckled.

"And I saw that drool." he then laughed.

"Ketchup and tartar sauce is in the plastic bag if you want."

"W-what drool? im not drooling. you're drooling" he said dusting himself off.

He grabbed the bag smiling.

"Oh nice...thanks ryker!" he said pulling out the meal and taking a big bite.

"I should call Aly today. let her know how im doing" he said smiling

"You've got the plan for it." he reasoned.

"So go ahead." he went on.

The phone rang for a couple of seconds, before it was answered.

"Hello, hello." Aly said.

"How's things going, Eke?" she asked, having looked at the caller I.D.

"Having fun on your 'guys-only' trip?" she asked further with a light laugh.

He took a bite smiling.

"Yeah actually. my appetite is back and i feel normal" he said

"To be honest i just woke up and ryker bought some lunch while i was asleep" he said stretching.

"Riiiiiight." she said.

"He's lyyyyyying!" Ryker called out in a sing-song tone.

Aly just laughed again, this time a little louder.

"I'm glad you boys are having fun!" she told Eke.

"It's good to hear you so jovial and light." she added.

"Yeah i feel good. i dont feel so sick. I dont know how many trips i have left in me so im glad i can now" he said lovingly.
