I usually hotlink to my twitter lol ... if that doesn't work, imgur is pretty good for general sharing and stuff.

It's not great as a gallery or anything like that but it's really good for sharing.
As for galleries I'm pretty lost on where to go these days. Tumblr is dead, Twitter is Not Great and at this point social media is going to cost me jobs in the future lol. I set up an ArtStation but oh my god this is so intimidating.

Honestly for galleries being on not just one social media is preferred.
In case someone is not on the social media site you go on they can go on another.
I am honestly on everything.
I don't really recommend pillowfort because it's still in beta and requires a key to the site
so not everyone will see your work.
Instagram is the most popular, but have to fiddle with the algorithim.
Twitter there is really no way on how to get popular but you can reach so many people on there.
For me I am on everything. Even Tumblr. My art is most popular on Instagram and tumblr.

Posting art on social media feels like throwing spaghetti at the wall to see what sticks. It's just tiring trying to keep up with each. Honestly I think my tumblr did better when I only focused on it

and yeah working against the algorithm suuucks. i do really struggle with consistent art too so it's a nightmare in that regard
i also have a website and a paid domain and hosting ... i hoped it'd get me motivated but it's been two years now lmao (it's in my signature under the etc link for those curious but beware going to my twitter re: current events and stuff)
