After the fight with the literally gargantuan, flaming bird, everyone went off to wind down in their own way. For Uni, that meant taking the edge off with some mischief. Ensuring that she had glue and itching powder, she headed to Lena’s room, intending to put them in place of Lena’s makeup and (potentially) lube, respectively.

Arriving at Lena’s room, she checked to see whether the arachne was present. Seeing that Lena was indeed there, the bard cast Invisibility on herself and had an Unseen Servant knock on the door, then snuck in when it opened. She hid under the bed, intending to wait for Lena to leave and thus have an opportunity to strike. Uni felt the mattress sag onto her as Lena sat back down, having seen no one at the door. It would be a difficult wait, but one that the tabaxi was perfectly willing to endure

However… Uni did all this without bothering to rest or recover, and was still wounded from the fight, having been one of the more heavily damaged party members. A constitution check is made, which the bard promptly fails… causing her to pass out beneath the bed.
Several minutes later, Lena finally finished resting, and got up to go assist with cleaning up the ship.

FORTUNATELY, the arachne noticed a familiar furry pelt beneath their bed. With blood staining the floor around it. Pulling Uni out from beneath the bed, she begins shouting mentally for anyone to come help. Cue rolling to see how many people can be included in Lyte’s mental link - 5 out of 6 party members. Cue rolling to see who Lyte includes in the link - everyone but Lena. Panicking and desperate, Lena grabbed a healing potion and poured it down Uni’s throat, successfully reviving the mischievous tabaxi.

As Uni returned to consciousness, Lena wanted to be mad, but the only emotions that came were gratitude and relief. For once, Uni actually felt some semblance of guilt, having put herself in danger and bringing even more trauma upon Lena.
