I have a friend who HATES this guy, like with a fiery passion. So I absolutely have to go and get an autograph to give my friend. I just have to.

This is exactlyIt's going to be in February. And they are having a Halloweenfest on Oct. 31st this year. Friend and I want to go, but know we probably shouldn't. Especially since she's going to Disney for a week in October for her wedding anniversary, and I'm saving for my Disney trip in December.

Why shouldn't you go? Covid? That shouldn't really be an issue if you're willing to go to Disney, should it? Or is it soemthing else?

But I'm not entirely comfortable with going. And after we get back, I'm not sure I can come directly home. I live with a cancer patient and I'd rather not kill him with covid.

Right - so things are a bit more complicated for you, and you're being more (understandably) cautious, than I was initially thinking. So maybe play it all by ear and see how things go? Or maybe, given covid, the Con -or the celebs- might offer a "mail in" or alternate signature option?

Yes, yes it would. We really can't manage much more of this shut-down stuff without the consequences getting even more dire than they are already. Fortunately, it does seem to be going down the track of "going away"

Just got done with dealing insurance for the day. My doctor's office wants an insurance card... but I don't technically have one, since my insurance is through my mom, and she has the only card..?????

Oh, believe me - I'm not exactly comfortable with this covid stuff. I am, however, trying to keep my optimism (which is difficult, tbh)
parents and primary insurance holders should be able to request additional cards for the others included on their plan. My kids have their own cards now that they're old enough and venturing around without me attached to their hip all the time
