I don't mind reading self-published authors as long as they're not riddled with typos, editing oversights, etc.

This R.J. Blain series recently got picked up by a publishing company. So her books have gotten a bit cleaner [fewer typos] since the first couple I owned. I do recommend this series 100%. I read them as a 'pick-me-up' when I'm not in a good mood.
Oh, now I'm going to have to go check them out! LOL <3

L.G. Estrella is one author that I've read recently that strikes me as (probably) self-published... Attempted Vampirism is the first book of two in the set.
