@xvz: I wanted to make a cute puffy dress for voltra but i never fell throgh with it.
I still even have the wip on my hard drive if i ever get the courage to make it.
A long time ago i wanted to make my own avatar site cause i often have dreams of making one.
but i probably could not commit to it lol.

I think when it comes to painting studies, the smaller details tend to stress me out.
When i block in the big shapes it's so fun. But when it gets to the really small details
im like "Oh no send help."

Yeah speed paints are super motivating and make me feel super inspired to get study my rump off!

I have not but now that i know popeye's has a spicy one i so want to try one...after pandemic of course lol

i think w painting the big shapes are what really matter anyway :-) you don't have to do all the details either, i would pick a main focal point and just do details for that, and that way you can stop afterwards if u want and that's all you'd really need! the rest of the details are optional imo

@xvz: hopefully. luckily kept the files so i can work on it whenever tho.
I think i also wanted to make something with a strawberry pattern which sounds super cute!

Definitely! tiny details aren't super important in the beginning anyways.
I think it's mostly shape for small details like on mountains that are super tricky but as long as im learning it's okay.
I have to tell myself studies are not to make an exact replica but to learn from what you paint.
So i often remind myself that. and I did learn a ton from painting mountains.

ohh yeah i remember when the popeyes sandwich came out they sold out / ppl lined up for them

i've had it twice and tbh worth it both times lol, it's so so good hot too imo
i wouldn't say it's spicy though but i would totally recommend it, i hope u can try it sometime! :3

and yeah exactly!! i think you've got the right mindset ^0^
w digital too u can always use the digital as a direct guide u really want haha, like u can always overlay the reference to see what's off and how to tweak etc :3

i think maybe in 10-20 years i could be interested in adopting a kid tbh :0 but i don't think i'd be ready for something like that anytime soon

definitely will be trying to paint now. maybe i might dig out a reference
too to also study.

I'm definitely going to make 2021 my painting year to work harder on my
studies and sharpening my skills as i feel my art will get so much better if i work harder
on painting my art. and of course show those hands who's boss too lol.

But i luckily got 3 art series to practice with. and probably more draw this in your style challenges as well.

it's been super nice for me to be able to chat w ppl on voltra abt art stuff

i don't know a lot of ppl who do this kind of art irl , wo the art community here i don't think i would have been able to improve as much as i have this year so far <3

stuff like artfight too for example - i wouldn't have heard of it if not for voltra! and stuff like toyhouse i wouldn't even know existed :0

@xvz: Well i've been trying super hard to stay motivated.
I get creatively drained, and battling mental illness after mental illness.
I pretty much found out i have ADHD, which really kind of affected me. I haven't officially got tested for it yet
but im 99% sure i do have that and everything i learned about it im like "So that's what this is..."

But i've been trying so hard to keep up with art because even tho art is very hard a lot of times
it really makes me happy. and i want to improve.

Maybe around this time next year i will fill my large sketchbook maybe half way. or less than half.
I call my sketchbook...frank as he is a big boi. it is a 10x14 sketchbook. :vanora_sweat:
but i just overall want to do better at practicing, studying and improving.

Next october i plan to do a prompt list..but i will do PAINT Tober.
so it will be paintings.

moody i think you've been doing great so far! i get that it's super hard to do stuff sometimes and i can imagine w adhd it's harder to stay focused, i think you're doing great despite it though

But i think it's going good so far figuring out the balance between art, studies, and personal art.

Kinda but i rarely draw in my sketchbook.
drawing in sketchbooks is super hard.
