@Kozi: What IS it with being responsible? It sucks - LOL! Even when I take a day "off", 99% of the time I still make sure there's food in the fridge for them to eat, etc. /eyeroll/ And by the time I get through being all "responsible adult" I don't want to think or process or do anything any more...

It sounds like you've had a very productive day, and it's good that you slept!! But you work the night shift, right? - so yeah, I bet you will be feeling it tonight :(

And yes - energy drinks, caffeine... sometimes ya just gotta do it to make it through.

@Wildfire: Honestly, caffeine doesn't do a whole hell of a lot for me anymore.
It used to. Now, it's more like "drink this and not be dead" vs. "drink this and be energetic." :/
Time to be a zombie again for long enough to slack off on it.
That way it might actually still work when I need it to.

@Kozi: Yes, that is the downside to caffeine (any) addiction. It's like that for me too. I drink coffee in the morning to wake up, stave off the withdrawal headache and that's about it. :( How did you manage through your shift?
