Savra was quiet for a moment, surprised at the sudden inquiry.

"How much?" they asked in response.

"A fair amount." they said.

"I may be young, but I HAVE been around for a few centuries already." they told him further.

"Why?"

Savra's eyes widened when they heard that.

"Oh... oh my..." they said.

They then looked ready to bow right there on the spot, but Eke could see that they stopped themselves. They knew Eke hated that, so they stopped their reflex to show their immense respect and submissiveness.

"I should have known." they then said further.

"You DO resemble your father."

Savra looked at the shoes, before looking at Eke, and nodding.

"Yes." they replied.

"I did." they confirmed.

"..." they were then silent, before looking away slightly, thinking about something.

"I'll tell you everything I know about him." they then said, looking back at Eke.

"...well... all I can remember, at any rate."

Savra was shocked by the sudden display of emotion and affection, but returned the hug and held Eke close.

"You're welcome." they said.

"As I said, I'll tell you all I can remember." they went on.

"..." they were then silent, before looking around.

"Do... you want me to start HERE, or wait until we're back at the vehicle?" they asked.

Savra looked confused and angry at the 'undead' mention of Eke's father, but it was only because he couldn't believe that someone like him would be brought back as an undead.

It was an insult.

But they shook it off for now and followed Eke to the counter, looking around as they did so.

Meanwhile, the one behind the counter smiled at them.

"Is this everything?" the woman asked.

The woman was silent as she watched Eke do this. She didn't seem to react at first, but Eke could tell. It was working.

"W-well..." she stammered.

"It technically ended yesterday, but since you're buying so much, I CAN apply the special customer appreciation discount we had going. It takes off as much as 75% of the cost." she told him.

"..." she was then silent as Eke put a little more into it.

"...which is to say, it will take off a solid 80% of the cost." she corrected herself.

Savra looked at Eke, and then back towards the store.

"...wow..." they muttered.

"That was amazing." they said.

"You got so much taken off the price." they said further, as they walked towards the entrance of the mall.

"And you can do that all the time?" they asked.

Savra was smiling at Eke as he said what he did, but his expression changed when Eke said what he did about Ryker.

"I'm... I'm sure he did." they tried to assure him.

They then looked around, and easily spotted their vehicle in the back corner of the large parking lot.

"Over there." they said.

Meanwhile, inside, Ryker was laying in one of the beds, with what looked to be a strange inky black substance on him... that also looked vaguely fuzzy. However, it wasn't on him. It just seemed like he was discoloured that. Or, rather, the left half of his body was.

And he seemed to be having a fitful sleep.

When he put his hands on Ryker, the man jolted to awareness, and brought a hand to the side of his head.

"Huh!? Wha!?" he exclaimed.

It was at that point, the strange colouration on half of his body seemed to rescind itself, seeping into Ryker's left eye, causing it to turn pitch black for a moment, and then disappear entirely.

"...ow." he mumbled.

"That was a sharp pain." he said.

"Oh, hey you two." he then greeted Eke and Savra.

"Welcome back."

"...what...?" Ryker asked in a whisper.

"Wait... what was WHAT?" he asked him.

"You had strange black colourations on you that disappeared into your eye when Eke woke you." Savra explained.

"....." Ryker was silent for a moment upon hearing that, before sighing heavily.

"It's... it's nothing that needs to be worried about." he said. "Nothing that can be changed or whatever." he said further.

"Can we have more information?" Savra asked.

"...it's part of my body changing and getting ready to live in the Underworld." Ryker muttered.
