"That could be a big factor, yes. Highly probable." he commented.

'But teenagers with high mana concentration go through a much more noticeable "bottomless pit" phase than others...' he then thought.

"Seriously. Seems like you have it pretty decent here."

"I much prefer this set up over having someone hovering around me, and controlling me. That was not fun, and I didn't even realise it until I got out of there."

"A lot of people don't recognise abuse until... well... they experience NON-abuse." he commented.

"At least you're out of there now." he then said.

"Seriously, I think you have a heck of a bright future, Lunet." he told her.

"Even if it's a case of me never getting a proper 'job' in that kind of positioning. Hard to find people who believe me, usually." She adde.

"They claim either I'm lying about being blind, or lying about doing it myself. So even if I can't get attached to any real dev studio, I don't care. I'll do my own indie projects til the cows come home, I think."

The next hour and a half was spent engaging in small talk about this and that, when they heard the doorbell to her home ring.

"...must be the food." Leo commented looking over.

"You want to get it, or shall I?" he asked.

"Got it." Leo replied, getting up and making his way to the door. He was gone for only about a minute, before he returned to where she was, and instantly, the aroma of pizza teased her nose.

"Oh, man." Leo mumbled, setting down what sounded like a decently heavy load.

"4 XL pizzas, 2 orders of bread sticks, a large hot dessert cookie, and two 2L sodas, one cola, one root beer." he listed off.

"Seems Ty REALLY knows how to order pizza." he laughed.

"Note says the top two are specifically for you, Lunet." he added.

"Uh..." he stammered.

"Right..." he mumbled.

He was starting to think that maybe he should go, it seemed he'd possibly said the wrong thing.

"Ty should be home shortly!" he quickly said, changing the subject.

"Because I can. I've done it before. Ty usually harps on me about it, but I'm a hungry girl and he can kiss my ass." She added.

"And yeah, in the next bit. At some poinmt." She added after a moment or two, in reference to Leo's comment regarding Ty.

The sudden shift in her attitude and speech almost gave Leo whiplash.

...but he had to admit, he WAS intrigued.

"All right..." he said.

"$200 says you can't finish one of those pizzas in 5 minutes." he told her.

"If Ty harps on you, I'll take the fall." he went on.

"I AM enabling this, after all."

Lunet just laughed.

"You're on." She told him before getting to her feet and grabbing one of the pizzas. She sat down, made sure that it was the right one, tested out the tablet he'd passed her earlier with a timer, before starting it and setting to work.

She knew she could devour this pizza, it was really something that was very much unsurprising to her.

However, she realised how it was something hard to believe.

When she finished, she stopped the timer.

"Hey google, what's my time?" She asked the tablet, and waited for the vocal response.

"Holy... hell." he said.

"Did... did you TASTE any of that?" he asked her.

"Every bit." she responded confidently.

"...well, crap." Leo muttered. "You want it physically or transferred digitally?" he asked.

"I'll DD it to your account." he told her.

"And 7 minutes. Geez." he went on.

"AND you still have a whole pizza JUST for you." he then said. "If I were to wager a guess, the other two are ones you and Ty can share." he reasoned, as he started to get the transaction ready.

"And I'm also guessing one of the sodas is yours entirely, as well as both breadsticks." he continued.

"Not sure about the dessert cookie."

"If you want some pizza, I'd reccomend grabbing now." Lunet commented. "Same with the breadsticks, as ... well, I've proven it'll be gone quick."

"I don't know why I have such a ridiculous appetite, but I do. I always have." She added.

"In Wales, I never got much of a chance to actually eat properly, but here? While I still go a bit hungry because I'm not going to cost Ty an arm and a leg for dinner, I can actually eat and be mostly full. So that's fantastic."
