Leo chuckled a little as Kitt kept Lunet from falling, stabilising her. Once Lunet was in no danger of falling over, the large wild feline circled around her, nudging her nose against the newcomer, before aggressively pushing the top of her head up against Lunet's chin.

It was clear she was fishing for attention.

"Either Kitt's feeling particularly affectionate, or she likes you, Lunet." Leo told her.

"As Rowena said, she's friendly." he then confirmed.

"Seems she's being a big suck right now."

Lunet wasn't about to argue with a wild cat. She reached up and scritched the cat behind the seemingly monstrous ears.

"... well, so long as I'm not going to be her dinner." she commented.

"Nahhh, chances are that Ash already fed her, or will be soon." Rowena commented honestly.

"Hey Kitt, scoop her up." She told the cat who looked over to Rowena, nodded, before moving behind Lunet. She then ducked between the girls legs, getting her onto her back, and followed Rowena who headed off.

Lunet, meanwhile, was holding on for dear life. She didn't know how high off the ground she was, or if she was likely to fall. So she wanted to make sure she didn't.

Leo followed and chuckled as he saw Lunet hanging on for her life.

"You're not that high up." he said.

"But still, hanging on it good." he told her, as they started to walk through the kitchen, where Lunet was greeted with a heavenly sweet smell. One that smelled of fresh brownies that were baking.

"Hey." the one in the kitchen greeted them.

"What's up with THIS little party of people?" he inquired.

"I'm ... fixing the uhh... Leo, how'd you put it, a disaster?" Rowena started, and asked, with a laugh, "hair that the girl has."

"Oh yeah, Lunet - any allergies?" Rowena asked after a moment or two.

"Oh... no." Lunet answered.

"Good. Because Ash doesn't really like working around allergies. Thena gain, I don't think anyone does." Rowena added with a light laugh.

"Anyway, hello, hello." he greeted Lunet.

"Name's Ash Fyrane." he introduced himself.

"And... hi. I'm Lunet Larson." The blonde introduced herself to Ash, figuring that it was the polite thing to do.

He then looked at her hair and shrugged.

"Having it up hides the mess." Leo said.

About 35 minutes later, Ash smiled and looked at what he'd cooked up, before checking the clock. He then made his way upstairs, where he saw the door to Rowena's 'hair salon' closed... and Kitt laying in front of it.

He rolled his eyes and knocked on the closed door.

"Yo!" he called in.

"How's it going in there?" he asked.

"Not too bad, at all." She told him honestly.

"we'll be done in about 10. I'm guessing your food is done?" She asked

Before Ash could answer, he reacted to Kitt rising to her feet, and grabbed her collar so she couldn't go in.

"Ah, ah, AH!" he tutted the large black cat.

"And yeah, just came out." he said.

"Coincidentally enough, should be cool enough to eat in about 10." he chucked.

"Also, THIS one was laying at the door like an attached puppy." he laughed, gesturing to Kitt.

"Seems she's really taken to the squirt."

"I kicked her out of here when I started working with the chemicals." She added.

"Now go. We'll be down soon." With that, she lightly pushed him away from the door, before closing it.

Ash just chuckled, as Kitt laid down again.

"Oh, it's fine." he said, petting the feline on her head, and making his way downstairs.

He reached the kitchen, where he saw Lindsay grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge, and the two smiled at each other.

"Mom's working on a new client, huh?" he asked.

"Yep." Ash responded.

"Cute kid." he commented further.

Sure enough, ten minutes later they were on the way downstairs, with Lunet walking with Kitt down the stairs. After just a couple of steps, though, she tripped over one of Kitts' paws and with a cry, ended up falling down the stairs.

She expected the painful landing, but it never came. Instead, she found herself held, by someone or something warmer than expected. It definitelly wasn't the cold wooden floor.

"Sorry!" She exclaimed as she tried to get to her feet, scrambling slightly.

"Woah, woah, woah." Lindsay said to the squirming girl that he'd just caught.

"It's all right, it's all right." he told her.

"Are YOU okay?" he asked. "That sounded like a nasty bit of tumbling." he commented.

"But are you all right?" he asked her once more.

He wasn't going to put her down... just yet. He wanted to ascertain that she was all right and could stand on her own before doing something like that. The last thing that needed to happen was for her to have a broken leg, and then put weight on it.

"I... I think so. Can I be put down please?" Lunet asked. There was some unease to her voice, it wasn't hard to tell either. She didn't know who the hell had caught her. At least she was able to pick up on the fact that it was a person.

She was reasonably certain that the one that wouldn't mean her harm, but there was no way for her to tell.

"Lunet! Are you all right!?" Rowena called from upstairs.

"What the hell happened?" She then asked as she started making her way down.

"I tripped over the cat." Lunet answered

Lindsay just sighed and gently set Lunet down so that she was sitting on the bottom of the stairs. Her feet on the floor.

"Your feet are on the floor." he said.

"So you don't need to worry about stepping on any stairs." he told her further.

He then looked as Kitt descended said stairs, and shook his head.

"Kitt, you KNOW better than to be underfoot like that." he scolded her.

"She's not at fault." Lunet told him honestly.

".... She was my guide, I'm the one who misstepped." She added.

"Rowr!" Was Kitt's response before nudging Lunet on the side of the head.
