"....I see." Lindsay responded.

"So you've never heard of cream cheese." he said.

When Lunet looked even MORE confused, he sighed.

"It's... that's a bit of an explanation in and of itself." he told her.

"But... well, it's a creamier cheese that lends itself to sweeter tastes." he said further.

"And cakes can be made out of it."

After about 3 minutes, Ash returned with a smaller tray with a few bite-sized slices of cheesecake on them. He took the empty food tray she had already, and replaced it with the other one.

"Each one of those is a sample of cheesecake." he told her.

"There's basic, basic with chocolate sauce, basic with raspberry sauce, chocolate cheesecake, and caramel cheesecake." he said further.

"Please, give them a shot."

"Oh, of course." Ash responded.

"Want something to help with that?" he asked.

"And by that, I mean would you like some milk, whether white, chocolate, or strawberry." he clarified.

"It's cool if not, merely offering." he then assured her.

"The spice wasn't too much for you, was it?"

"Heh, I understand." Ash said.

"Ah, and YOU." he then said to Kitt.

"I made you a promise, didn't I?" he asked. "I'll go get it." he told the feline, before turning and heading off.

Lindsay laughed a little when Ash left.

"Kitt's a sucker for the fish that Ash brings home. Or Ashleigh, for that matter." he told Lunet.

"She's a spoiled thing, she is."

Lindsay was silent, before shaking his head.

"Ash, you..." he muttered, making his way over and getting closer towards her.

"You did." he told her.

"Sometimes Ash gets so excited he loses track of certain things." he said further.

"That was the chocolate one, yes." he repeated, before handing her a napkin and helping her wipe her hand. He then made sure she had the small fork, and guided her to another piece.

"This is the raspberry one." he told her, as she went through each small piece of cake one by one. When she finished the last one, the pain-jane, Lindsay took the tray away and set it down on the nearby table.

"So how were they?" he asked.

Lindsay chuckled again.

"Hey, you're always welcome to come back here." he told her.

"You heard it before, Ash loves having someone new to cook for." he reminded the girl. "So if you ever feel like you want to broaden your culinary horizons, give us a call." he suggested.

"Just... we need to make sure Ash will be here." he then said.

"His job takes him away from the house, and has him gone for sometimes weeks at a time."

Lindsay scratched at his chin for a moment.

"A bottomless pit, huh?" he asked.

"She IS a mage with VERY potent passive mana, after all." Leo told him. "And when they get to be teenagers, their stomachs really kick into overdrive." he said further.

"...teenager?" Lindsay mumbled.

"Hang on, you're a teenager, Lunet?" Lindsay asked.

Lindsay raised an eyebrow.

"Your tone and phrasing speaks more than your words." he said.

"But I shan't pry." he said further, as Ash returned and dropped the fish by Kitt's mouth.

"So!" he said.

"How was the cheesecake medley?" he asked Lunet.

Ash paused at her 'messy' comment, but Lindsay interjected before he could say anything.

"I helped sort things out, don't worry." he said.

"Got it." Ash muttered.

"But yeah, it's truly awesome about cheesecake." he chuckled.

"Regardless, perhaps we should be headed back soon, Lunet." Leo then said.

"Be sure to give him a call to let him know you'll be heading back really soon." Leo told her.

"And know you're always welcome here." Lindsay then said. "Whether it be having an appointment with Mom, or decided that you want Ash to try and fill that bottomless pit of yours." he chuckled.

"I'll do it, too." Ash commented.

"I'll make SURE you're full by the time you leave." he laughed.
