@Kory: Oh noo! I totally get your feelings tho. I know in the art comunity alot of ppl acuse eachother of "copying" eachother.... And it always makes me think, have they never heard of inspiration?
Like theres nothing bad with it and i find it great (ofc not talking ab plain up stealing other ppls stuff lol)
I also hate it when ppl say your a poser.
So not exact situation but very similer:
I collect dolls and there was somebody quite populair that got known for dressing their dolls in a fairy kei/decora style. At one point ppl said that they created that style (wich not true but ok?) and that if you had a doll with a similer style you where just trying to be like them.... Then there was a whole other drama where somebody acused other of stealing their character and copying but it was over very miniscule things... Like having a character with balck hair sweept before their eyes and a piercin.... thats what they got mad about.... And to think ppl with dolls would be more understanding of eachother for already having a wierd hobby lol

@Kory: Yea it can really mess you up, especially withe the negative tone behinde it. I always tried to do the oposite of the crowd... Had my "im not like other girls" phase (turned out i wasent agirl at all??)
It got to a point where i became bitter about populair stuff. In the end i was like "why?? why am i like this? just to seem special??" and turned my stuff around. I sometimes still have it but i battle it by looking up the populair thing lol.

The night before I pay my rent, roomie (also my landlord) announces my rent is going up $10 because her electric bill went up $20 and apparently we're splitting the difference.
