Since sunday i've been working on this dress i made! I still have a few adjustments to make so it fits my body just a little bit better. But, this style of dress is nearly impossible to find in my size so i got excited when i found a pattern for it in a close enough size that i could grade it up to my size! So sunday i spent my whole day working on sizing up the pattern, then monday i cut everything out and started to try to make sense of the pattern instructions, tuesday i finished the bodice, and wednesday i attached the skirt and the zipper- my first zipper ever! and then today i brought the bodice in a little because it was quite loose. Because of where i brought it in, i had to redo the zipper. Unfortunately i did not take any pictures of the dress today after i brought it in a bit. It still has a little more to go in around my waist before i'll be happy enough to say it's finished, but so far it's good enough to wear!

@moodyb: it's not too difficult with a machine. i actually find it a lot easier once you get started. hand sewing is such a chore to me and i only do it if i absolutely have to.

@Purpsy: thank you! The day I bought the fabric, I also bought 16 others, most of them galaxy or space themed, but this one spoke to me with the planets and said it needed to be a dress inspired by(kinda) miss frizzle!
