@SirLionelNigelConrad: That's Neat! And the mods really depends on the way you want playing to go. I will say though, there are a couple of Vanilla plus mod packs that just add thibgs to the vanilla experience like tree validator which makes leaves decay much faster once a tree is chopped down, extra tree types and biomes, and more food types. It just makes it a slightly more fun experience.

@SirLionelNigelConrad: The newest Thaumcraft is for Minecraft 1.8.9. But the mod maker is working on a complete overhaul to make it better and work for the most recent Minecraft update.
