Winter '22 Plasma Orbs! If you are not in the loop, Plasma Orbs are released in seasons lasting at least 3 months. Before we get to some mouthwatering visuals, let's go over a brief recap of Plasma Orbs, also known as RIGs, so even the newest city-goer is up to snuff!
What's a Plasma Orb?
Great question, folks, and one I'm happy to answer! A Plasma Orb is a "Random Item Generator", which means it's a complete surprise what you're going to get when you open it! Who doesn't enjoy a good game of chance when all your prizes look so good, am I right?
How does it work?
Since my lovely siblings are so considerate, they are offering you two buying options to better suit your individual wants and needs! The Common Orb will be available for just volts while the Premium Orb is ohm exclusive. Let's do a breakdown of what each Plasma Orb has to offer, shall we?

Why are there only two orbs, instead of three?
If you’ve been around for past seasons, you’ll notice that there are 2 plasma orbs this season. One is a common orb and the other is a Premium orb, that hasn’t changed. Due to the demand and constraints on our staff it was determined that we’d reduce the amount of sets. Previously, a season would contain 16 items, compared to the 12 items now.
How does the contents differ from past seasons?
In comparison to previous seasons, the Common Orb contains 8 items (10 prior) and the Premium Orb contains 6 items (5 prior), while sharing 2 Common items (4 prior) between the two.
How does this affect the Collector’s Bundle?
No worries for our collectors out there! Collector’s Bundles have been adjusted to reflect the change in the number of orbs. You’ll receive the following: Common Orb x 5, Premium Orb x 5, Collector’s Set x 1, and PO Voucher x 4.
What is a PO Voucher?
Plasma Orb (PO) Vouchers allow you to select any one of this season’s new items! You may claim your voucher(s) by navigating to the Consumables / ORBS tab in your inventory.
