"....I have no idea." Addison admitted.
He was then silent, and seemed to be a little flustered, before coughing slightly.
"Heh." he chuckled.
"From what I saw, you were awesome in dealing with those felines." he complimented her.

"Heh." Lily just chuckled lightly.
"Fighting is in my blood." She commented after a few seconds.
"Plain and simple. Fighting is part of who I am, so it's really not surprising that I can handle myself in a fight." She added after a few seconds.
"Plus, you know, you had their attention pretty damn well, letting me come in and just kill one."
Addison just sighed in response.
"Well... hm." he muttered.
"I suppose." he said.
"Still... they were really hellbent on killing me." he continued.
"I think you literally saved my life, like stopped the female just before she went in for the kill."
"Well... hm." he muttered.
"I suppose." he said.
"Still... they were really hellbent on killing me." he continued.
"I think you literally saved my life, like stopped the female just before she went in for the kill."
"Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised." Lily commented with a light sigh.
"The sheer... hatred that i felt while there was enough to put my mother to shame, I think." She told him simply, and plainly.
"It was unbelievably oppressive." She added.
"I almost turned tail and ran, to be honest."
"Understandable." Addison replied.
"They were terrifying." he said.
"...." he was then silent again, before looking off to the side.
"Hey, Lily?" he said.
"I..." he stammered, before biting his bottom lip slightly.
"Just... I mean..." he stuttered further, his face turning a bit red.
"Remember when you and your brother said that only a fool would fall in love with you?" he asked.
Lily was silent for a moment before sighing.
"What of it?" She asked, having an idea as to where he was going with that. She wasn't sure what it was that she was supposed to make of that, of course. How anyone could love her, without having some sort of blood connection to h er.
Addison was silent again, before straightening up, taking a breath in, holding it, and then exhaling it.
"Well..." he said.
"I mean... I guess that... well..." he stammered.
"Damn it all." he then cursed.
"I guess I'm a fool, then!" he finally blurted out.
"Well..." he said.
"I mean... I guess that... well..." he stammered.
"Damn it all." he then cursed.
"I guess I'm a fool, then!" he finally blurted out.
Lily was silent for a moment.
"We all are, really." She commented.
"I have to ask. How the hell could you? Aren't I a bit... nuts... for you?" She asked
Addison just shrugged.
"One would think so." he said.
"But I guess not." he told her.
"Or maybe that's one of the reasons I AM such a fool for you." he said further.
"Which, one could argue, makes ME a little nuts." he then reasoned.
"One would think so." he said.
"But I guess not." he told her.
"Or maybe that's one of the reasons I AM such a fool for you." he said further.
"Which, one could argue, makes ME a little nuts." he then reasoned.
"I'd need someone that can balance me out - much like how Dad balances Mom's moods." Lily commented.
"If you think you can do that, then We'd be good." She thens aid before pausing.
"Although I could end up driving you completely insane."
"Well, I can certainly try." Addison replied.
"I don't know if I'll be as effective as your Dad, but I can try." he said.
"And if you DO end up doing so...... oh well?" he then asked with a shrug.
"That's a risk." he said.
"One I'm willing to take."
"I don't know if I'll be as effective as your Dad, but I can try." he said.
"And if you DO end up doing so...... oh well?" he then asked with a shrug.
"That's a risk." he said.
"One I'm willing to take."
Lily nodded.
"Cool." Was all she said. Then again, in the time that he'd know Lily, he'd quickly learned that she wasn't one to say much, normally.
"That's definitely good to know."
"....heh." Addison chuckled.
"Yeah." hs said.
"Cool." he said further with a small smile.
"So you say you're gonna find your Mom?" he asked.
"Good luck." he said.
"From what all your family has told me, when she doesn't want to be found... nobody finds her."
"Yeah." hs said.
"Cool." he said further with a small smile.
"So you say you're gonna find your Mom?" he asked.
"Good luck." he said.
"From what all your family has told me, when she doesn't want to be found... nobody finds her."
"I have a pretty good idea as to where she'd probably be, actually." Lily commented.
"But beyond that, her and I are very much similar." She added, just as they heard the elven medic approaching.
"Now now. Don't die after I fixed you up." She told Lily.
"I have that the entire thing between your mother and Ash completely under control."
Addison looked at Emelie, and shook his head.
"Like I said, I WILL find out." he told her.
"You always seem to have everything under control, no matter what." he said.
"And I WILL find out HOW." he vowed.
"...but for now, I suppose we should just trust her." he then said to Lily.
"When Emelie says she has something under control... it's under control."
Lily just shrugged.
"I've learned never to go against that elf." She commented before grabbing the book she'd been reading again.
"Good girl." was all Emelie said with a chuckle.
Addison just chuckled a little.
"Heh. Yeah." he said.
"Going against elves is..." he started to say further, before pausing.
"Wait." he said.
"Wait, wait, what." he repeated.
"Hang on." he continued.
"Elf!?" he asked Emelie.
"Heh. Yeah." he said.
"Going against elves is..." he started to say further, before pausing.
"Wait." he said.
"Wait, wait, what." he repeated.
"Hang on." he continued.
"Elf!?" he asked Emelie.
Emelie just laughed lightly as Lily looked over toward Addison, shock in her features.
"You mean you're being primed to be the next head of this guild, and you don't even know what psecies one of the main staff members here are?" She asked incredulously.
"Either your mother is failing for priming you for this, or you're failing for getting all the information." She added. Emelie ust sighed.
"I asked Cassandra to not say anything. I wanted tos ee how long it would take before Addison found out." Emelie then said before looking to the male.
"And yes. I am an elf. High elf, to be specific."
"....wow." Addison whispered.
"That's... really cool." he said.
"I had no idea, obviously." he admitted.
"But... huh. All right then." he said further.
"That DOES answer a lot of questions." he went on.
"...none of the really BIG ones, though." he then added quietly.
"That's... really cool." he said.
"I had no idea, obviously." he admitted.
"But... huh. All right then." he said further.
"That DOES answer a lot of questions." he went on.
"...none of the really BIG ones, though." he then added quietly.
"There is no shame in deterrence. Having a weapon is very different from actually using it." - Ghandi
Emelie just smirked lightly.
"Well, that's what happens." She commented with a light shrug.
"Don't think that you'll get the answers that you want so quick, either. Anyhow, you two are free to go."
