I just finished the HP books a while back, and have a few questions.
If you're an American, can you attend Hogwarts or are you restricted to the American campus? (haven't watched the new movies with the Newt dude)
Why are wizards a secret?
Why did tech in the wizarding world stop right before the industrial revolution?
In the books, are all the characters wearing witch hats? I remember a scene where Harry is so tired that he accidentally tries to put his hat on his foot like a sock.
Does anyone else feel really bad for the other students who went to Hogwarts at the same time as Harry? Seems like their experiences were miserable with all the government takeovers, lockdowns, invasions, unstable teachers, and literal monsters roaming the school.
Also, I really, really would want to be in Ravenclaw then go on to work with magical animals. That sounds like a dream.

I imagine local schools are what you're restricted to unless you move abroad. Each country keeping track of their own magical populace and such.
Wizards are secret because muggles can't handle shit. They pitch fits over people with different skin colors and you want them to accept a whole class of people with magical abilities? Good luck.
Magic apparently renders electronic devices useless. Magic is a hoe like that.
In the books, yes. Hats are part of the uniform, in the movies and most other media the hats have been ignored completely. Along with the uniform robes being replaced with more traditional school uniforms (skirts/pants/etc).
Literally those kids got the shortest of sticks. Hogwarts after Harry Potter would probably be great.
School with the trio would be the worst. Bad stuff always happening and at the most stressful time of year too. ugh.
